Vipava Valley – A Landscape in Motion

This tasting session will take you to Vipava — a valley in northwest Slovenia that doesn’t reveal itself easily.

What looks soft and green is, in truth, restless and exposed.

Waters shift the land overnight. Vineyards stretch along terraces and hillsides — small, scattered plots that shape the valley’s quiet complexity.

Beneath the vineyards: stone cellars. Cool, vaulted, often underground — some still lit by candlelight. This is where the wines settle and find their final form.

This is where Vipava’s green gold grows.

For centuries, families have worked this raw landscape, passing down knowledge while refining it with a modern hand. Indigenous varieties like Zelen and Pinela emerge from this — wines defined by tension, clarity, and precision.

No excess. No softness. Just character.
